Siobhan Das is the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the American Malaysian Chamber of Commerce (AMCHAM) in Malaysia. She has been with the organization since 2016 and has over 15 years of experience in the fields of global trade, public policy, government relations, and public affairs. Siobhan oversees the development and implementation of programs and initiatives that support the interests of American businesses in Malaysia, and works closely with government officials and other stakeholders to advance the organization's mission. She is responsible for leading the organization's efforts to promote trade and investment between the United States and Malaysia and support member engagement locally.

Dato’ Loo is the CEO of InvestPenang, the principal investment promotion agency of Penang, which is wholly owned by the state government.

Backed by 25 years of industry background in the manufacturing industry, Dato Loo’ came into her position in 2010. Her responsibilities include strategizing state’s investment and industrial policies, identifying new areas of growth to broaden state’s GDP base and per capita income levels, to maintain Penang’s status as an economic powerhouse of Malaysia. She also leads state’s strategies on Foreign Direct Investment (FDI), Global Shared Services, SMEs and talent initiatives.

Born and bred in Penang, Dato’ Loo graduated with Bachelor of Economics from the University of Adelaide, South Australia, and received her MBA from the University of South Australia.

Suresh is Vice President and General Manager of Intel's Malaysia Design Center, the largest semiconductor Design & Development Center in Southeast Asia. Besides driving the development of advanced Integrated Circuits (IC) design, he collaborates extensively with the external ecosystem - universities, government, and industry partners to drive the application of innovative technologies for the greater good. He has been passionately driving the integration of Diversity, Equity & Inclusion (DEI) and Environmental Social Governance (ESG) best practises in all aspects of the Design Center's operations.

Solomon Lorthu is the Managing Director of Penang Operations for Motorola Solutions Malaysia Sdn. Bhd. He was appointed to his current position on 1st January, 2018 and has assumed overall responsibility for the company’s operations at its Penang site that includes Supply Chain, R&D and Global Solutions & Services Center. Solomon continues to lead the R&D organization in Malaysia, the largest R&D setup for Motorola Solutions globally. Solomon has over 21 years of experience with Motorola Solutions and has held various key leadership positions within the company during his tenure.

Prior to his current appointment, Solomon was responsible for leading the Devices Hardware Engineering function within the Penang Design Center. Under his stewardship, Solomon has led various teams to deliver numerous innovative products under different portfolios for worldwide customers, from platform-based to fast derivatives. These products have won numerous design excellence awards internationally.

Solomon is passionate about people development, operational excellence and innovation. He continues to lead multiple initiatives surrounding these areas. He was also the recipient of Motorola Solutions Leadership Excellence Award in 2013 for his exemplary management and leadership contributions to his organization.

Vimala Murugan is the Strategic Trade Controller of Strategic Trade Secretariat, Malaysia. Ms. Murugan has served the Ministry of Investment, Trade and Industry (MITI), Malaysia in multiple areas of trade and industry for more than 28 years. Prior to being appointed at the current position, she was the Senior Director of Regional and International Relations Division and she was also the Senior Official for Malaysia for Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC). In MITI, she had also been
attached with the Bilateral Economic and Trade Relations, the Industrial Policy Division, Monitoring and Evaluation Division. Ms. Murugan was also assigned to serve the country overseas as Economic Counsellor (Economy) at the Embassy of Malaysia, the Philippines and in the Mission of Malaysia to the EU & Embassy of Malaysia, Belgium as the Minister (Economic Affairs).

Ms. Murugan holds a Bachelor of Arts (Hons) degree from the University of Malaya and Master’s in Business Administration (Strategic Management) from the University of Technology, Malaysia.
