| Sabah has decided to allow inter-district travel to commence from Oct 14 with the overall vaccination rate reaching 70% to date. Along with the latest decision, the ongoing zoning system would be removed. The permission is only applicable for fully vaccinated adults, teens aged between 12 and 18, who have received at least one dose of the vaccine and children under 12, who are accompanied by fully vaccinated parents. |

| A total of 21,220,121 individuals or 90.6 per cent of the adult population in the country have completed their COVID-19 vaccination as of yesterday, 12 October. 94.9 per cent of the adult population, or 22,215,504 individuals have received at least one dose of the vaccine. |
