| Police roadblocks around Putrajaya remain despite it being placed under the Recovery Movement Control Order (RMCO) since March 5, said Putrajaya District Police chief ACP Mohd Fadzil Ali. He said that roadblocks and random police checks would continue to be conducted around Putrajaya to ensure the public did not enter without a letter of permission so as to protect the district from the risk of COVID-19 infection. |

| General practitioners in the private healthcare sector will be involved in administering COVID-19 vaccination shots from the second phase onwards to boost the government’s coverage of the national immunisation programme. Health Minister Datuk Seri Dr Adham Baba said the private GPs would be administering the vaccines to recipients under phase two and phase three of the vaccination programme. |

| Malaysia will receive 32 million doses of the Pfizer-BioNTech vaccines by this year as part of a new agreement signed with the government, Minister of Science, Technology, and Innovation Khairy Jamaluddin announced. The supply is an increase from the previous signed deal from the US-based drug manufacturer and will cover the first dose requirement of virtually all of the country’s population. |
